Good basic accommodations. We had an end room and it had its own little patio. The room above it appeared to have a seating balcony. The room was clean, no bedbugs. I did see one roach at the sink. There are roses planted by the pool! They have a nice big lobby, but I didn't like the air freshener fragrance they had. The breakfast was sparse.
Great location if you are visiting Black Canyon National Park. Cheapest motel in town, but was clean, and the front desk guy was very nice and accommodating. Good quality bath products too (I really liked the shampoo, actually).
For a budget hotel it was exactly what we expected. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast options were minimal. The only thing I disliked was the pillows. I found them to be "lumpy". Given the price point compared to other hotels I think it was a fine place to just spend the night and I would stay here again.
for 65$ for a full room with private bed/bathroom, TV and seasonal pool, you get your moneys worth, it’s clean + no bed bugs and while i was staying there was a full woman staff which i felt safe, only 20mins away from black canyon with target right around the corner :) would stay again if needed to
I love these type of older motels. Very clean. Check in was much better than most chain motels.
Anytime I had a problem they were "Johnny on the spot." Always professional and kind. Got to know 4 of the employees very well and they made me feel like family. Had a bad experience at another motel in this town therefore I'm very grateful this place has been my home for the last 2 months. I had a couple plumbing problems and David was always quick to help me with that. Very polite and courteous and professional. He got it fixed quickly and always checked back in with me to make sure everything was working ok. All the front desk people took care of the rest of my needs promptly and efficiently and love that I made 4 new friends!!!!!! Can't wait to stay here again and hopefully my friends will still be working here. Great place, great value, great memories
Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and the location was convenient for everything I needed. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it made for a truly restful night. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Montrose CO.
I've stayed here twice with my dog. Both times were pleasant. The room is nice and looks updated. I've never tried the breakfast so I can't speak on that. My main thing is my dog. They at least have 2 decent areas for the dog to use the bathroom that are close to the rooms. The AC was so nice and I had to turn it off because I was cold. They give the wifi password with the room card. The staff is friendly. I would stay here again. Only issue is the staircase. Made of wood and seemed like it will be falling soon. My dog was hesitant to walk up or down and he's usually crazy fast on stairs.
